How to draw step by step Mehndi Design
Here we are going to learn how to draw mehndi art step by step method. Its not for applying henna to the hands.After learning how to draw mehndi art in plain paper, try out in palm. In upcoming post i will explain about how to put henna to the hands step by step method.
Before learning henna apply, you have to learn how to draw mehndi design and how to create mehndi design using plain paper.When we discuss about mehndi art, there is two things. one is main motif or main frame. Other thing is enhancing line which is used to enlarge the mehndi design. If you are good at this two type, you are the mehndi design maker. Only needs practice and creativity. You should practise to draw and create the pattern and apply to the hands with your creativity. For your one step learning i have given below some example. In upcoming post. i will discuss above all matter with step by step method.
This post will be short form of my future post.I will post how to draw and how to create different pattern and how to apply henna in my forthcoming post.
Okay lets start
There are lot of basic design which is flower, leaves, peacock, paisley and geometric shape. Such this basic pattern there are lot of enhancing line pattern. To know about all enhancing line(CLICK HERE) .You have to know above all matter before applying henna to the hands.
At first, you have to take practice with enhancing line.Here i have explained how to draw step by step enhancing line. See the below image and try out. This will be use for adorning , enlarging and fulfilling any design.
First one is line. Most of the mehndi design consist of line. They would be used line according to their creativity. You could use like a line or fish borne art.
Second one is waves. It is also called Ripples in mehndi art term. According to your creativity adorn your palm with different types. Likewise you have to create tendrils, water drops, the hump, spiral and so on.
In mehndi art there is no place for single line or dots. You know one proverbs 'single tree makes no forest'. So you have to add one by one using your creativity. When we see the whole design, it will look beautiful and pretty one.
See the below image. This shows how to draw one by one using enhancing line.

This picture is one of the sample. Look at every line and dots. You may think that it is very simple. You are correct . Its easy to every one. Likewise you have to create more enhancing line according to main theme. Above image shows How to enlarge or enhance the single dots . See the second sample

You are going to learn how to draw main pattern step by step method. Here we have taken one sample with simple design .
See the sample and understand the main pattern.
First draw 'S' shape ( pic 1) and curl like pug tail on both sides (pic 2). Then draw the hump in the middle of the 'S' shape (pic3).
Put dots for drawing open heart petals as shown in figure. Then join dots to create petals. This dots is used to gets neat shape.This technique will be use when you feel bad in drawing. In the same manner draw leaves .Then add heart one by one in diminishing order.
Finally you have to give shading to open heart petals and heart shape as shown in figure. Then Leaves are filled by fish borne technique .To see fish borne technique(Click here). You can extend this design using more leaves and flower. Try out.
This sample design would be very simple .Everyone can draw easily and It looks pretty.Try this on your hand using step by step method.In forthcoming post i will explain more step by step method using henna with simple mehndi pattern.
