How to prepare easy lemon rice

LEMON RICE WITH THICK COCONUT CHUTNEY OR PASTE


Lemon rice is one of the easiest cooking. It will be taste with thick coconut chutney. So try it and taste it.

Ingredients:
Cooked rice - 1cup
lemon juice-1tsp
Turmeric powder-pinch
salt to taste

To temper
Mustard seeds-1tsp
curry leaves-1
Red chillies-2
Ginger- small pieces(finely chopped)

Method:
Step1
Heat the oil in a pan and add tempering items one by one.

Fry till the spluttering stops and add ginger and fry for another minutes.
step3
Add the turmeric powder, rice and salt . Mix thoroughly and cook 1-2 minutes .
Step4
Take it off the heat and now add the lemon juice.Ready to serve with thick coconut chutney.

CHILLI CHUTNEY
Ingredients
To grind
Fresh coconut - 1/2cup(grated)
Green Chilli - 2
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp(optional)
Garlic-1piece(optional)

Method
Step1:Grind all  ingredients and add small amount of water to make paste. This Thick coconut paste is  the chutney or coconut paste.
