Adai dosa with red chilli chutney

Yummy taste Adai with red chilli chutney......


ADAI

Ingredients;

Raw rice -1/2 cup
Dal
Toor dal-1/2 cup
Chana dal-1/4 cup
Urad dal-1/2 tsp
moong - 1/2 tsp

Peanut-1/2 tsp
Red chillies-4 or as per taste
Ginger- small piece, chopped
Asafoetida- as per taste

shallots-100g finely  chopped
curry leaves- a few chopped

Method
Step1
Soak the rice and all dal separately for 2-3 hrs or overnight .
Step2
Grind rice with red chillies,asafoetida, peanut and ginger.

Step3
Grind the dal to coarse paste
 Step4
Mix  rice and dal paste to make batter.
Step5
Now add onion, curry leaves and salt into batter.
Step6
Heat dosa tava and pour spoonful of batter in a center and spread  with the back of the spoon to a thin round. pour one tsp oil over it.
Step7
serve with red chilly chutney.



RED CHILLI CHUTNEY




Ingredients

To grind
fresh coconut - 1/2cup(grated)
Red chilli- 2


 To Temper
 oil-1scurry leaves -1
mustard seeds- 1 spoon

salt to taste
previously boiled and cooled water

Method
Step1
splutter mustard in oil and add curry leaves .Take this separately.
Step2:
Grind all other ingredients and add small amount of water to make paste.
step3:
Add grinned paste into tempering(no need water). It is a Thick red chilli coconut chutney. Ready to serve with adai dosa. No need to heat the chutney
