How to make quilling lotus flower

Lotus flower, butterfly are one of the step in quilling art. After learning how to make lotus flower, you can make any shape art using quilling materials. Here you are going to learn some basic folding technique.All single art (flower, butterfly etc) is used in greeting card, photo frame, home decoration, pencil toppings and so on.

Okay lets start

Step1

Take 2mm quilling strips and wanted color.

Step2

Make four loosen round coil in big size and two in small size. Be sure at making the same size as shown in figure and apply glue.

Here is one for middle bud , another two for  left and right petals. Other one is for bottom.Two small petals for placing in side gap.

 
Step3

Take one loosen round coil and Slightly squeeze like water drops  for middle bud.





Step4

 Take other two loosen round coil and small round coil .Press to make marquise leaf shape.

 Step5

Take last one and bend into a curve with thumb finger for bottom petal as shown in figure.
 Finally arrange all petals as shown below image

  Here is involved only folding technique. You can make different flower and petals according to the way of pressing and folding.
