How to prepare easy tomato curry

This tomato curry is one of the easiest and routine cooking recipe in  south indian cooking menu.Simple ingredients are used to prepare. No need more vegetable. This flavor is based on fish curry. So Try and add to easy cooking menu.Here I have explained with step by step image. This will be used for beginner in cooking.


Ingredients
  • Tamarind - gooseberry size
  • Kuzhampu masala powder- 2tsp
  • Tomato- 3 finely chopped
To grind
  • Shallots-7
  • cumin seeds-2tsp
  • Coconut-6slice
To temper
  • Oil-2tsp
  • Mustard seeds-1tsp
  • Curry leaves-3string
  • Shallots-2

Method
Step1
Soak tamarind in water and prepare tamarind juice and keep aside.
Step2
Cook well chopped tomato with water and cool it.Then grind that cooked tomato and keep aside.
Step3
Heat the oil in a pan and add all tempering items. After roast shallot add ground coconut paste, kuzhampu masala powder and tamarind juice.Finally add cooked tomato.

cook well and add some more water if it is needed. Serve hot with white rice.
