How to apply mehndi on hands

Dear learners
I am excited to share this post because of your waiting  for a long time. Most of the people want to know how to put henna design and how to get dark color on hands. Today i am going to post this content and some useful tips when applying henna to the hands.
When applying mehndi to the hands ,  some doubt are arisen to beginner in mehndi. Let clarify that doubt through practical method. I applied mehndi on the hand for experiment. I got some result and share with you. Finally i have given some tips and tricks.Go through all content before applying.
Some material and traced hand are needed before putting mehndi to the hands  (To know -Click here).
How to cut mehndi cone?
As i  got this cone in our area i have used for this experiment. You can find more brand in the market. Buy whichever you feel better brand in natural henna cone(not color cone or instant mehndi cone). I will explain later that type of cone.
Take scissors and cut carefully into round shape on the pointy tip of the cone depending on your thinness or thickness of the lines. Here i have cut larger hole because of making the big bold piece of work  on the hand. See below cut cone.

For learning design on hands i have taken very simple design but it looks very nice and beautiful. See below design. At first you have to draw this design on plain paper using pencil and put on hand. Before doing design on hand, make a mixture of sugar(0.5) and lemon juice(1tsp).

I have put this design on the hand within 10 minutes. After putting  mehndi , apply sugar- lemon juice on little dried mehndi. Here i have applied this juice 1 times only.
After 2 hour  i have scrubbed dried mehndi with coconut oil. I got light orange color design and also applied coconut oil on this.

Finally got darken color within 6 hour. See the right side image. This darken color would be minimum-2-3 days . After 3 days darken will be change into fade color .My experiment is a common but this result would be change due to people's SKIN TYPE, WEATHER and their LIFESTYLE.
 TIPS AND TRICKS IN MENHDI
  •  Buy required mehndi material.
  • Create your own mehndi design according to your drawing skill  on plain paper.
  • Before applying mehndi on hand you have to clean your hands using soap and water.Start from center of the palm of the hand.
  • After It has  dried little, apply lemon-suger onto mehndi design with finger or cotton ball.In my experiment I had kept two hour  and applied lemon-suger juice one time only. But i got better result. This result depends upon weather and   skin type . You may get better result in cool climate. Don't follow this on special occasion. If you have less timing, you can follow this rule. Otherwise you have to keep henna on hands overnight and You have to apply Lemon-suger juice 2 or 3 times.
  • Never use soap washing to remove dried henna. This will prevent for getting darken color.
  • Apply coconut oil or baby oil on dried henna and rub the dried mehndi and scrape it off with fingernail and then apply coconut oil or baby oil on orange color henna design. Then  you have to wait  for 5-10 minutes. Then wash with normal water. After dried henna has removed you can get only light orange color. Gradually this orange color will change into darken red color (within 6 hour). This darken color will be retain minimum 2 -3 days according to your LIFESTYLE AND SKIN TYPE.Then it will be fade away.
  • Timescale for keeping mehndi on hands is  minimum - 2hour, 4, 6, maximum -8hr(this will change quality of henna and weather). Timescale for getting darken color is minimum -30 minutes and max-6hour. Timescale for retaining darken henna on hands is minimum-2days and maximum-it is dependent upon your lifestyle, skin type and henna's quality .
  • You may apply little lemon juice on hands before applying henna.
  • You can use lemon juice only instead of Lemon-suger juice.
